The Costa
Calída is renowned for its vast amount of sport and leisure
available for all ages from young to old, be it that you are looking
for an adrenaline rush then you will not have to look far, there are
various sports that you will find just around the corner.
It is
completely necessary to firstly mention the most important sport to
the Costa Calída which is golf, the reason for this is that
Mucia is now one of the main golfing regions in Spain as there are
at the moment 18 golf courses going up over a period of the next few
years, not including the fantastic courses that exist at the moment
for instance the prestige "La Manga Golf" course and sport
centre which is situated next to a very large hill where you
can see over the entire course which itself is kept in an outstanding
condition to keep its name to such a high recognition.

Varying from the most exciting that is parasailing
which involves being pulled along while attached to a parachute
by a powerboat giving you a massive rush and also a fantastic view
of the surrounding area, (no experience required).

to forget the rest! Jet ski rentals which are fantastic just for a
mess around, always at a reasonable price, Windsurfing, again just
for a mess around with friends or on your own, canoeing, kite surfing,
Scuba diving,
where you will experience a fantastic amount of
peace
swimming around the coral reefs or just general diving to see the
wide varieties of beautiful fish in the Spanish sea.
Including other slightly less energetic
and more peaceful sports, for instance the Spanish people love the game
of bowls and you will find various parks everywhere around the Calída
which will have on most weekends either friendly get togethers or you
could just have a private game with friends or family. (no fees to use
grounds on public parks, which also come in a high quantity as the Spanish
residents taxes mostly go towards revamption of old properties, Public
parks which include bowls fields and minigolf courses and also they use
the money to create beautiful roundabouts and landmarks just to add that
extra touch of originality to their town.
Alternatively why not just go for
a stroll around your town/city just to see some of the fantastic features
that have been put there for everyones enjoyment ranging from young to
old, including fiestas which occur very frequently here in Spain as it
is another thing that the taxes go towards which ensures that the Spanish
people are really going to bring the best out of the day/night with things
like competitions on the largest and best tasting paella dishes of which
once the competition is over it is all shared around for no cost whatsoever,
also included many times in there fiesta schedule are parades where the
participants dress up to suit the occasion of that certain fiesta. Be
it christmas or just simply celebrating a day of one of the saints they
will always bring out the event to its highest quality and make it a very
enjoyable experience for all
